25" deep fits standard kitchen base cabinets with a small overhang. Deeper tops, from 28" to 42", suit islands, peninsulas and seating overhangs.
Each In Stock top is a solid edge grain butcher block countertop. Long hardwood strips are glued edge to edge, and every strip runs the full length of the top. We sand the top smooth, ease every edge and corner to a 1/8" radius, and prefinish it with acrylic polyurethane in a satin sheen. The bottom is left unfinished because it won't show once the top is installed.

In Stock tops ship from Middlefield, Ohio, the next business day after you order, and sometimes the same day. Tops under 70 lb and 96" long ship by FedEx or UPS Ground. Larger tops ship on a pallet by freight, with liftgate or white-glove delivery available. Transit time depends on your location.
Unlike custom tops, In Stock tops can be returned as long as they haven't been modified or altered in any way. See shipping and returns for details.

Each In Stock top costs 10% less than a made-to-order top with the same wood, size and finish. If a stock size works for your space, it's the easiest way to save on a finished top.

Hard Maple is light, creamy and the hardest of the three. Walnut is a rich brown with natural color variation. Red Oak is warm tan with an open, prominent grain.
Yes. Every countertop we make, In Stock or custom, is formaldehyde-free. Each top is built from solid hardwood in our Middlefield, Ohio, shop, with no laminate or veneer.
