The Distinction of Rift & Quarter Sawn Oak
The quality of a farmhouse table starts with the wood. We utilize rift and quarter sawn white oak, a cutting technique that is superior to standard plain-sawn lumber. This process not only reveals beautiful grain but also creates a board that is significantly more stable and resistant to warping or cupping. This ensures your table maintains its flat, pristine surface through years of seasonal humidity changes.
Traditional Turning & Design
This table celebrates the art of wood turning. The legs feature a custom round tapered design, constructed from laminated white oak for structural thickness and consistency. This turning technique softens the look of the table, moving away from blocky, square legs often found in rustic furniture.
Connecting the base is a system of solid white oak cross members. The lower cross member features a subtle curved profile, adding a touch of elegance that breaks up the straight lines and adds visual interest to the under-structure.

To ensure your hardwood furniture remains a cherished part of your home for years, a few simple care steps are recommended. Dust regularly with a soft, clean cloth, always wiping in the direction of the wood grain. For cleaning, use a mild, wood-safe cleaner applied sparingly with a lightly dampened cloth, followed by wiping with a dry, soft cloth. Protect your furniture from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity changes, which can cause fading or damage. Always use coasters, placemats, and trivets to protect surfaces from moisture, heat, and scratches.
