Our Paddle Style Cutting Boards are sanded smooth then sealed with two coats of the standard option of Food Safe Mineral Oil, or our Tried and True Salad Bowl Finish. Upon receiving your order, it is recommended that you wipe the board with a damp cloth, then apply another coat of Hardwood Lumber Company Butcher Block Oil or Butcher Block Conditioner, before using your cutting board for the first time. You can also order your cutting board to be shipped unfinished, if you prefer to not have your product sealed with Mineral Oil.
