This warranty applies only to products manufactured by Hardwood Lumber Company and does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, or improper installation.

Shipping and Delivery

We carefully inspect all orders before shipping. If your order arrives with visible damage, please ask the delivery driver to note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing. If the product appears unusable due to damage, you should refuse delivery, and we will promptly work with the shipping company on reimbursement and/or product replacement.

If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, please notify us within one (1) business day so we can assist in resolving the issue quickly.

Wood Characteristics and Natural Variation

Each piece of wood is unique. Variations in color, grain, texture, and character are part of what makes solid wood products beautiful and are not considered defects. Photos on our website are examples only; actual products will vary slightly due to natural characteristics.

Moisture and Movement

Wood is a natural material that expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity. Minor warping or movement is normal and not considered a defect. Proper installation, finishing, cleaning and moisture control are essential to ensure long-term stability and performance. See Hardwood Lumber Company Countertop Finishing and Installation Guide
