White Oak In-stock Stair Tread Details

The Hardwood Lumber Company now offers a few select wood species stair treads and risers that are in stock and ready to ship. 

All of our in-stock stair treads are unfinished and have a bullnose edge (also called half-rounds). Nosing is added on to the edge of each step as a safety feature, increasing the amount of space you have to step on as you climb the staircase.

White Oak is known for its durability and characteristic light wood grain, making it an excellent option for homeowners who want to complement a bright or lightly-colored room with a natural wood staircase that will last.
