This Birch Edge Grain Cutting Board is an excellent choice if you’re looking for something durable that will hold up year after year.

Our Butcher Block Cutting Boards are made with the finest solid wood, so they are able to withstand scratches and marks better than other cutting boards. The Birch lumber makes for an attractive piece in your kitchen when not in use.

Please Note: Because each piece of wood has its own unique character, grain and color will vary from the sample images shown.

All cutting boards are custom made to order. All orders revised or cancelled after going into production (within 24 hours after order is received) will have a restocking fee of up to 50%.

Each cutting board is made-to-order, meaning we can make it to your specifications. Choose a size, thickness, and other features when you place your order.

Size

Choose from these standard sizes for your cutting board:

• 8” deep by 12” long

• 10” deep by 16” long

• 12” deep by 18” long

• 14” deep by 22” long

• 18” deep by 24” long

• 24” deep by 24” long

Thickness

Choose your desired thickness for your cutting board. Options range from 3/4" inch to 4-½ inches.

Finish

Our Butcher Block Cutting Boards come pre-finished with your choice of food grade Mineral Oil, or Salad Bowl Finish. You can also order your cutting board unfinished.

Additional Features

We offer these additional features for all Butcher Block Cutting Boards:

• Juice groove to catch drips

• Feet (wooden bun, black silicone, or clear silicone)

• Finger grips

Our Standard Edge Grain Cutting Boards have square corners and a ⅛” radius on all edges. 

Upon receiving your order, it is recommended that you clean the board with a damp cloth, then apply another coat of Hardwood Lumber Company Butcher Block Oil or Butcher Block Conditioner before using your cutting board for the first time. A water-resistant glue is used on all of our Butcher Block Cutting Boards.

Most of our woodworkers are craftsmen from the local Amish community, providing great attention to quality and detail at every step throughout the manufacturing process.

All cutting boards are custom made to order. Shipping may vary depending on your customization options. Please provide for a standard lead of 2 weeks for processing, milling, and shipping of birch cutting board orders.
