End grain butcher block countertops from The Hardwood Lumber Company add warmth and beauty to any kitchen. They are extremely durable and gentle on knife blades, making them safe for daily food preparation. These wood countertops are constructed using 1-½” square blocks with the end grain facing up. A water-resistant glue is applied to all of our butcher block countertops.

Our end grain butcher block countertops come with the options for a sink cutout, stove cutout, angle cut, or any other custom cut you may need. We offer a large selection of edge details and combination of wood species to match your unique preferences.

Our Countertops are made with a good top surface and four good sides. This means the bottom surface might have imperfections. Selecting the High-Grade Bottom Surface option allows you to have the bottom surface be the same grade as the top surface and four sides.

Our countertops are sanded and maintained perfectly on top, while the bottom is left in a potentially rough state, untouched, because when installed it will never be visible. Most End Grain Countertops ship within 2 to 3 weeks, with the exception of certain Exotic Wood Species.
