The Crescent Solid Wood Dining Table pairs a softly rounded hardwood top with a sculpted trestle base. It’s a mid-century modern form built with the care of traditional furniture making. Seen from the side, a long, gently arched stretcher joins the two posts in a low curve that lightens the whole base.

Each post tapers as it rises and branches into a pair of splayed feet. The transition from post to foot is shaped as one continuous line, so the base reads as a single sculpted piece. The feet angle outward for a wide, steady stance and finish in softly rounded tips.

The top runs straight along its long sides, and its ends curve into a generous radius. That softens the shape without giving up the seating of a rectangular table. The edge is relieved on the underside, so the top looks slim and light from across the room. The table shown is solid walnut, chosen for its deep chocolate and amber tones and the cathedral figure that flows across the boards.

At 84" x 36", the Crescent seats six comfortably, or eight with a chair at each end. Because the trestle posts sit in from the ends, there are no corner legs to work around along the sides.
