Hardwood Lumber Company is excited to offer our line of high quality, customizable metal table bases. Currently, we offer five table base designs for a variety of possible looks. Whether you’re expanding your home office and want to build a custom desk with sturdy legs or want to add a new dining table to your kitchen, our bases offer a high-quality solution for your needs.
While our bases can be used as part of any project, consider pairing them with our selection of Wood Countertops or Live Edge Slabs to create the perfect addition to your home. Our countertops can be customized, allowing you to create a truly unique table.

Table Base Sizing & Custom Options
All of our bases can be custom made to your specifications. Bases are available in four heights:
- 28” Dining Table Height
- 34” Counter Height
- 40” Bar Top or Counter Height
- 14” Bench Height
A range of available color options allow you to further customize the look of your base, and create a one-of-a-kind design for your home or office!

Table Base Construction
Hardwood Lumber’s metal table bases and legs are made by our team of local craftsmen and are constructed from 1018 carbon steel. Compared to other types, 1018 steel offers good ductility, which makes it easier to weld and shape, coupled with high levels of toughness and strength. These qualities make it a fitting option for table base construction.
We use a powdercoat finish on all of our table bases. This ensures an even coat while limiting volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and solvents.
