Hardwood Lumber Company specializes in manufacturing quality butcher block table tops and wood countertops. Round Cherry End Grain Butcher Block Table Tops can be custom made to your specifications. We can make Round Cherry End Grain Butcher Block Table Tops up to 4-1/2" thick and 48" in diameter. Butcher block table tops are available in many other hardwood species. Our butcher block table tops are available unfinished or prefinished. We offer butcher block table tops with the following finish options, Acrylic Polyurethane finish, Food Safe Mineral Oil, or Poured Epoxy finish. We also offer staining with the option of a standard stain color or a custom stain of your choice, using our stain matching services. Round Cherry End Grain Butcher Block Table Tops can be made with a large selection of edge details ranging from a slight eased edge, to decorative classic and ogee edge details. Our butcher block table tops and wood countertops are a great choice for kitchens or any other room if you like the natural warmth and beauty of wood. Hardwood Lumber Company end grain butcher block table tops are made from 1-1/2" square blocks with the end grain facing up. All our wood table tops tops are constructed with a waterproof and formaldehyde-free glue. Butcher block table tops are also great for island tops, countertops, and bar tops. We also offer the option for custom cutouts. Most of our woodworkers are craftsmen from the local Amish community, providing great attention to quality and detail throughout the manufacturing process.
All wood table tops are custom made to order. All orders revised or cancelled after going into production (within 24 hours after order is received) will have a restocking fee of up to 50%.
If you prefer to have your table top sanded smooth and have no texture, be sure to select NONE in the Textures Options.
Wire Brushed texture works best on wood with an open grain, such as White Oak, Red Oak and Ash. On other tighter grain wood species, such as Cherry, the Wire Brushed Texture will not have the same effect and will not be as visible.
Because each piece of wood has its own unique character, grain and color will vary from the sample images shown.

Character Cherry
Cherry heartwood varies from rich red to reddish brown and will darken with age and on exposure to light. In contrast, cherry sapwood is creamy white. Cherry wood has a fine uniform, straight grain, satiny, smooth texture, and may naturally contain brown pith flecks and small gum pockets. Cherry is easy to machine, nails and glues well and when sanded and stained, it produces an excellent smooth finish. Our character cherry products are made by mixing the heartwood and sapwood and may also have some pith flecks and small gum pockets along with some tight knots.
