Hardwood Lumber Company specializes in manufacturing quality butcher block round table tops and wood countertops. Round Knotty Alder butcher block table tops can be custom made to your specifications. We can make Round Knotty Alder Edge Grain Butcher Block Table Tops up to 4-1/2" thick and 60" in diameter. Butcher block table tops are also available in many other hardwood species. Edge grain butcher block table tops can be made with mixed wood species. Our butcher block table tops and wood countertops are available unfinished or prefinished. We offer butcher block table tops with the following finish options, Acrylic Polyurethane finish, Food Safe Mineral Oil, or Poured Epoxy finish. We also offer staining, with the option of a standard stain color or a custom stain of your choice, using our stain match service. Round Knotty Alder butcher block table tops can be made with a large selection of edge details ranging from a slight eased edge to decorative classic and ogee edge details. Butcher block table tops are a great choice for kitchens or any other room if you like the natural warmth and beauty of wood. Hardwood Lumber Company edge grain butcher block table tops are made with 1" wide edge grain strips. Solid wood strips go the full width of our butcher block table tops, giving them a better look and more durability then blended butcher blocks offered by other butcher block manufacturers, where short strips are joined together. Butcher block table tops are also great for island tops, countertops, and bar tops. We now offer the option for any custom cut-outs you might need on your round table top. Most of our woodworkers are craftsmen from the local Amish community, providing great attention to quality and detail throughout the manufacturing process.

All wood table tops are custom made to order. All orders revised or cancelled after going into production, (approximately 2 to 3 days after order is received), will have a restocking fee of up to 50%.

Round Knotty Alder Edge Grain Butcher Block Table Tops will have filled knots.

Our table tops are sanded and maintained perfectly on top, while the bottom is left in a potentially rough state, untouched, because when installed it will never be visible.

If you prefer to have your table top sanded smooth and have no texture, be sure to select NONE in the Textures Options.

Wire Brushed texture works best on wood with an open grain, such as White Oak, Red Oak and Ash. On other tighter grain wood species, such as Alder, the Wire Brushed Texture will not have the same effect and will not be as visible.

Because each piece of wood has its own unique character, grain and color will vary from the sample images shown.

Round Knotty Alder Edge Grain Butcher Block Table Tops ship within three to five weeks, depending on your customization and finish selection.

Knotty Alder

Knotty Alder wood is light tan or light brown with a yellow or reddish ting. The fine even texture and moderate density of alder wood makes it easy to work with. Alder sands and polishes easily, stains readily, and seldom splits. We use only the higher quality grades of knotty alder lumber for our products.
