Walnut Edge Grain Round Cutting Board Details

This Walnut Edge Grain Round Cutting Board is built to last, constructed from the highest quality lumber. Walnut stains very well for an exceptional finish. When it is not in use, it makes for an attractive display piece.

Walnut sapwood is creamy white, while the heartwood is light brown to dark chocolate brown, sometimes having a purplish cast and darker streaks. We use minimum sapwood for our clear walnut products.

Hardwood Lumber Company is a manufacturer and supplier of quality Round Style Cutting Boards. Made from solid hardwoods, these Butcher Block Cutting Boards are practically indestructible.

Custom Walnut Round Cutting Board Options

Each round cutting board is made-to-order, meaning we can make it to your specifications. Choose a diameter, thickness, and other features when you place your order.

Diameter

Choose a diameter for your round cutting board. Options are in decimal inches, numbers only (ex: 25.25). The diameter cannot be less than 8, and the maximum value is 30.

Thickness

Choose your desired thickness for your round cutting board. Options range from ¾ inch to 4-½ inches.

Finish

Our Round Butcher Block Cutting Boards come pre-finished with your choice of food grade mineral oil, fractionated coconut oil, or salad bowl finish. You can also order your cutting board unfinished.

Additional Features

We offer these additional features for all Butcher Block Cutting Boards:

  • Juice groove to catch drips
  • Feet (wooden bun, black silicone, or clear silicone)
  • Finger Grips

Our Standard Round Cutting Boards have a ⅛” radius around the circumference of the board.

Cutting Board Care & Maintenance

To maximize the lifespan of your wood cutting board, proper care is important.

Upon receiving your order, it is recommended that you clean the board with a damp cloth, then apply another coat of Hardwood Lumber Company Butcher Block Oil or Butcher Block Conditioner before using your cutting board for the first time. A water-resistant glue is used on all of our Round Butcher Block Cutting Boards.

Most of our woodworkers are craftsmen from the local Amish community, providing great attention to quality and detail at every step throughout the manufacturing process.

All cutting boards are custom made to order. Shipping may vary depending on your customization options. Please provide for a standard lead of 2 to 3 weeks for processing, milling, and shipping of walnut cutting board orders.
