Hardwood Lumber Company is a manufacturer and supplier of quality Paddle Style Wide Plank (Face Grain) Cutting Boards. We have Paddle Style Cutting Boards in three different varieties:

* Custom Artisanal Variety

Our Standard Paddles are ideal for those who prefer to hold their cutting board with one hand while cutting. Similarly, our Pizza Boards are perfect for use as a Pizza Cutting Board or as a Pizza Serving Dish. Our Custom Artisanal Variety Cutting Boards are custom-made pieces with a Juice Groove, excellent planing, and overall incredible craftsmanship. Our Paddle Style Cutting Boards are sanded smooth then sealed with two coats of the standard option of Food Safe Mineral Oil, or our Tried and True Salad Bowl Finish. Upon receiving your order, it is recommended that you wipe the board with a damp cloth, then apply another coat of Hardwood Lumber Company Butcher Block Oil or Butcher Block Conditioner, before using your cutting board for the first time. You can also order your cutting board to be shipped unfinished, if you prefer to not have your product sealed with Mineral Oil. Hardwood Lumber Company Butcher Block Cutting Boards are of the best quality wood cutting boards available.

Because each piece of wood has its own unique character, grain and color will vary from the sample images shown.

All orders revised or cancelled after going into production (within 24 hours after order is received) will have a restocking fee of up to 50%.

White Oak

White oak sapwood is light-colored and the heartwood is light to dark brown. White oak is mostly straight-grained with a medium to coarse texture, with longer rays than red oak. White oak therefore has more figure. We use only the higher quality grades of white oak lumber for our products.
