In cases where a product has a deformity or if it is returned with defects and/or modifications, we list it under our Factory Seconds category. All products within this category are offered at a discount of up to 50% or more. Factory Seconds orders will be shipped out within one week or less.
This Birch Edge Grain Floating Shelf is prefinished with Acrylic Polyurethane, front corner has an angle, prep is broken, custom roudering, and some scratches. This shelf measures 1-1/4" x 12-1/2" x 45-7/8".
Brackets are not included with Factory Second Floating Shelves unless otherwise noted in the description.

Birch
Birch sapwood is creamy white to yellowish, while the heartwood is reddish brown. Birch has a straight, close grain and a fine, even texture. The wood of birch is heavy, hard and strong. Birch takes stain extremely well. We use only the higher quality grades of birch lumber for our products.
