Each of our unique cutting board styles offers something different than a standard no-frills wood cutting board.

Specialty Cutting Board Features

Our unique cutting boards have features that don’t come with standard wood cutting boards. Here are some of the features that you can expect from these specialty pieces:

Cutting boards with juice wells are great for slicing succulent cooked meat dishes like braised short ribs, or for large-scale prep of raw meat to ensure no overflow contamination to the counter. These specialty cutting boards are available in a variety of premium hardwood species like Cherry, Mahogany, Walnut, Maple, and more.

Specialty Cutting Board Finish

Each of these cutting boards is shipped finished with your choice of food-grade safe butcher block oil. We condition the board twice before shipping, but once your wood cutting board arrives we recommend wiping it down with a damp cloth and conditioning it again prior to use.

If you’d prefer to finish the cutting board yourself before use simply select to receive the board unfinished. If you order a cutting board unfinished you have to condition it before use. If it is not sealed with butcher block oil it can not only harbor bacteria, but will quickly warp, splinter, or break. If these premium wood cutting boards are properly sealed and maintained they can last for years.

Unique Cutting Board Shipping Information

Our unique cutting boards require lead time for our woodworkers to mill. Cutting boards are made-to-order and typically ship in 2 to 3 weeks. No two cutting boards are exactly the same!
