Hardwood Lumber Company specializes in manufacturing quality butcher block table tops and wood countertops. Round Ash End Grain Butcher Block Table Tops can be custom made to your specifications. We can make Round Ash End Grain Butcher Block Table Tops up to 4-1/2" thick and 48" in diameter. Butcher block table tops are available in many other hardwood species. End grain butcher block table tops can also be made with mixed wood species. Our butcher block table tops are available unfinished or prefinished. We offer butcher block table tops with the following finish options, Acrylic Polyurethane finish, Food Safe Mineral Oil, or Poured Epoxy finish. We also offer staining with the option of a standard stain color or a custom stain of your choice, using our stain matching services. Round Ash End Grain Butcher Block Table Tops can be made with a large selection of edge details ranging from a slight eased edge, to decorative classic and ogee edge details. Our butcher block table tops and wood countertops are a great choice for kitchens or any other room if you like the natural warmth and beauty of wood. Hardwood Lumber Company end grain butcher block table tops are made from 1-1/2" square blocks with the end grain facing up. All our wood table tops tops are constructed with a waterproof and formaldehyde-free glue. Butcher block table tops are also great for island tops, countertops, and bar tops. We also offer the option for custom cutouts. Most of our woodworkers are craftsmen from the local Amish community, providing great attention to quality and detail throughout the manufacturing process.
All wood table tops are custom made to order. All orders revised or cancelled after going into production (within 24 hours after order is received) will have a restocking fee of up to 50%.
If you prefer to have your table top sanded smooth and have no texture, be sure to select NONE in the Textures Options.
The Wire Brushed Texture works best on wood with an open grain, such as Ash. On other tighter grain wood species the Wire Brushed Texture will not have the same effect and will not be as visible.
Because each piece of wood has its own unique character, grain and color will vary from the sample images shown.

Ash
Ash sapwood is light-colored to nearly white and the heartwood varies from greyish or light brown, to pale yellow streaked with brown. Ash is generally straight-grained with a coarse uniform texture. Ash machines well, is good in nailing, screwing and gluing, and can be stained to a very good finish. Ash has very good overall strength properties relative to its weight and has excellent shock resistance. We use only the higher quality grades of Ash lumber for our products.
