Customize Your White Oak Backsplash
There are several ways you can customize your wood backsplash. We make the process simple: select from the available custom options in the menu above, including sizing, thickness, and finishing.
Your backsplash can be customized to a desired length. Choose from up to 24” depth, 162” long, and 1-½” thick for a truly wide range of sizes.
Our backsplashes are constructed in two styles. Select from butcher block with the strips running the length of the backsplash or face grain.
For best results, wood backsplash should be finished. We can finish your backsplash for you and offer various food-safe materials like Mineral Oil and Fractionated Coconut Oil.
Edge Details and Texture
Edge details can enhance the appearance of your backsplash. Choose from three edge options, including ⅛” radius, ¼” radius, and beveled.
We also offer texture options as part of our finishing process. If you prefer to have your backsplash sanded smooth and have no texture, be sure to select NONE in the Texture Options.
Wire Brushed Texture works best on wood with an open grain such as White Oak, Red Oak, and Ash. On other tighter grain wood species the Wire Brushed Texture will not have the same effect and will not be as visible.
All backsplashes are custom made to order. Shipping may vary depending on your customization options. Please provide for a standard lead of 1 to 2 weeks for processing, milling, and shipping of white oak backsplash orders.
Note: Lead times may vary based on seasonal demand. Please contact our sales team online or by phone at 1-800-798-1269 for questions regarding current order lead times.
White oak sapwood is light-colored and the heartwood is light to dark brown. White oak is mostly straight-grained with a medium to coarse texture, with longer rays than red oak. White oak therefore has more figure. We use only the higher quality grades of white oak lumber for our products.
