The Hardwood Lumber Company manufactures high quality textured stair risers at affordable prices. You will be very happy with the quality of our Textured Clear Poplar Stair Riser. Our textured stair risers are milled with new state-of-the-art equipment. Clear Poplar textured stair risers are available in standard sizes or can be custom made to your specifications. Textured stair risers are also available in almost any other hardwood species. We offer four texture options on all our wood stair risers, including hand-scraped, wire brushed, sawcut, and distressed. All our wood stair parts, including textured stair treads and textured risers, can be ordered unfinished or prefinished with Tread Coat Varnish, a very durable two-component, commercial grade conversion varnish specifically made for high traffic areas. We can also stain your textured stair treads and risers with a standard stain color or apply a custom stain of your choice, using our stain match service. Choose from our standard sizes or contact us for a custom wood stair riser quote. Our standard stair risers are 3/4" thick x 8" deep. Stair risers over 48" long may be slightly oversize with uneven ends.
All Textured Stair Risers are custom made to order. All orders revised or cancelled after going into production, (approximately 2 to 3 days after order is received), will have a restocking fee of up to 50%.
Our Textured Stair Risers are sanded and maintained perfectly on top, while the bottom is left in a potentially rough state, untouched, because when installed it will never be visible.
Because Polar Wood can have various levels of green colors, and because each piece of wood has its own unique character, grain and color will vary from the sample images shown.
Clear Poplar Textured Stair Risers ship within 3-4 weeks.
Poplar sapwood is creamy white and may be streaked, while the heartwood can vary from pale yellowish brown to olive green. Poplar has a medium to fine texture and is straight-grained. Poplar takes and holds paint, enamel and stain exceptionally well. We use only the higher quality grades of poplar lumber for our products.
