The Hardwood Lumber Company manufactures high quality textured stair risers at affordable prices. You will be very happy with the quality of our Textured Hard Maple Stair Riser. Our textured stair risers are milled with new state-of-the-art equipment. Hard Maple textured stair risers are available in standard sizes or can be custom made to your specifications. Textured stair risers are also available in almost any other hardwood species. We offer four texture options on all our wood stair risers, including hand-scraped, wire brushed, sawcut, and distressed. All our wood stair parts, including textured stair treads and textured risers, can be ordered unfinished or prefinished with Tread Coat Varnish, a very durable two-component, commercial grade conversion varnish specifically made for high traffic areas. We can also stain your textured stair treads and risers with a standard stain color or apply a custom stain of your choice, using our stain match service. Choose from our standard sizes or contact us for a custom wood stair riser quote. Our standard stair risers are 3/4" thick x 8" deep. Stair risers over 48" long may be slightly oversize with uneven ends.
All Textured Stair Risers are custom made to order. All orders revised or cancelled after going into production, (approximately 2 to 3 days after order is received), will have a restocking fee of up to 50%.
Our Textured Stair Risers are sanded and maintained perfectly on top, while the bottom is left in a potentially rough state, untouched, because when installed it will never be visible.
Because each piece of wood has its own unique character, grain and color will vary from the sample images shown.
Hard Maple Textured Stair Risers ship within 3-4 weeks.
Hard Maple sapwood is creamy white with a slight reddish brown tinge and the heartwood varies from light to dark reddish brown. Hard Maple has a close fine, uniform texture and is generally straight-grained. Hard Maple is hard and heavy with good strength properties, in particular its high resistance to abrasion and wear. We use only the higher quality grades of Hard Maple lumber for our products.
