Stair Risers

What Are Stair Risers?

Stair risers are the vertical section adjoined to the underside of the stair tread nosing. Risers help support treads and play a role in determining the spacing of each step.

Quality stair risers are important. Poorly constructed risers will impact the stability of a staircase, and those that are unevenly cut impact spacing.
