Additional Cutting Board Features
Our standard cutting boards come with square corners and have a ⅛” radius on all edges. A water-resistant glue is used for all boards. They’re pre-treated with mineral oil or with a natural plant based oil (fractionated coconut oil). We can make unfinished cutting boards if you prefer it yourself.
Caring for Your Cutting Board
Butcher block cutting boards require regular maintenance to remain functional and beautiful for years to come.
Wash your board with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly after every use. Apply food grade mineral oil and board cream about once a month or as needed to keep the wood from drying out. The mineral oil and cream will create a protective moisture barrier and prevent the wood from warping.
